Hello Fun Runners
We regret not having been able to get together since our last sho'n'go in February 2020,
to see old friends and to welcome new.
We now find that our lives have taken us in different directions so sadly we have decided to call a halt to what was for us, and we hope for you, an enjoyable part of each year.
We feel proud to have served the Los Angeles agility community for the past twenty years and cannot thank you enough for all your support and for making us feel that we did a good job.
So take good care of yourselves and we hope to see you out and about in the future.
Best wishes from Jean Hobbs, Mary Dincau and Gina Burroughs

DID YOU KNOW
.... that the oldest dog on record was a 29 year old cattle dog named Bluey from Victoria, Australia? While there is no evidence to support that unusual diets contribute to longer lives in canines, Bluey's regime was certainly noteworthy in that his owners fed him significant amounts of emu and kangaroo meat. Another famously old dog, 27 year old Bramble from Somerset, England, subsisted on the same vegan diet of rice, lentils and organic vegetables as her owner.
**********
.... that Rottweillers, Dobermans and other "protection" dogs are among the most enthusiastic stick chewers because they've been bred to work with their mouths. In addition, all of the retriever breeds are known for chewing.
